FAQs

  • Why have a church program?
    • We believe discipleship rhythms start in the home—but they also work best when done together with a whole church.
    • By partnering with churches, we’re able to cut shipping costs and pass those savings along to the church. This helps us move toward our goal of helping as many families as possible start—and finish—a discipleship rhythm in their home this year.

  • What’s the discount?
    • Both our Standard and Traditions block sets are $15 off the normal price on our website. (That is a 40% discount for the standard set.)

  • What products are available?
    • Our Standard block set comes with a white storage box, 27 blocks, and our family guide, The King Is Coming (paperback).
    • Our Traditions block set comes with a wooden storage box, 27 blocks, and our family guide, The King Is Coming (hardback).
    • Our 25-day adult devotional, He Is Here, is available for individual sale and doesn’t come in either block set.
    • Whom are the products for?
    • We have something for everyone! Families will love our block sets with The King Is Coming guide. And families and individuals alike will enjoy our 25-day adult devotional guide, He Is Here, which is intended for use with or without a block set.

  • Do churches have to pay upfront or at a later time?
    • Churches do not have to pay to be a part of this program. While we ask how many families are likely to participate, we do not hold anyone to this number. Families within a church pay at the time of purchase and will receive their blocks directly from their church distribution in late November.

  • Can churches purchase products to give away?
    • We would love for you to buy our blocks and guides to give as gifts! Gift purchases should be made through our main website and can be shipped to your home or to the home of the recipient.

  • Can churches buy and sell products themselves?
    • Yes. Churches seeking to only buy in bulk should sign up for the church program, purchase blocks in bulk through the church program link provided after signing up, and determine the best way to resell or distribute the blocks themselves.

  • How do churches share about Advent Blocks?
    • After a church signs up for the church program, the Advent Blocks team will send them a series of emails that will provide all the promotional resources—including videos, scripts, and photos—needed to share about Advent Blocks with their people.

  • What are the deadlines and delivery dates?
    • The last day for church program orders is Sunday, November 14. Blocks will be sent to churches the week of November 15. Churches seeking to close orders earlier in order to have blocks prior to mid-November for distribution can email contact@adventblocks.com to request early shipment.

  • How do churches distribute the blocks?
    • First, choose your delivery method. Some churches will choose to set two or three options for pick-up times (Sundays are great), and other churches will opt for a hand-delivered approach. Do what’s best for your church.
    • Then, send an email (we’ll provide the contact information) to everyone who made a purchase through your church program link and explain how the process will work.
    • Finally, distribute your blocks.
